Otakon sounds cool but I don't have any friends to go with. Maybe we can organize a /jp/ meetup.

Otakon is kind of seen as the unofficial 4chan convention. #4chan (the IRC channel), a couple other boards, and some of the moderators usually make it there. It'd make more sense to make an Otakon-specific thread around that time, but it's good to plan in advance, too. Hotels fill up fast and tickets sell out. I'm sure at least 10 of us will be going there.

Anime cons have gotten pretty terrible over the years. Really the only reason I still go to them is to meet up with friends I don't get to see very often, and get absolutely hammered for three days straight, and not have to worry about driving anywhere, and being within a safe walking distance of a bed at all time.

Whenever I open a bottle of vitamin water/coke/mt dew, there is no doubt by the fumes released, that the liquid inside said bottle is anything but what is on the label.

Brazilian conventions are shit, last time I went to one I was 16, never again. I've been saving money for C73, though, maybe I can go to M3 if Comiket is too expensive. I'm also going to other places in Japan, I hope I can spend an entire month there.

Ohayocon, probably ACen. After that, I'm not sure. Doubt I can convince myself to go to Otakon, though I might try.

Going to Otakon out of some weird semblance of tradition although last year was so bad I don't know why I even bother.

Friends are trying to convince me to go to Tekkoshocon but I was there when it moved back to the hotel and the first year at the convention center didn't thrill me. Moving back to a hotel... I'm not so sure about that. Although I did find out that my favorite game importer is going to have a booth there so not having to pay 30 bucks for shipping on games makes it almost worth the hassle.

Sadly, there are no good cons in my country. Id be happy to atend if there were any good ones... Danish faggot here.

Probably going to Comiket again. Not really in my area though.
