I absolutely hate driving. It's not the operation of the vehicle. It's having to drive on the road with people who learned to drive by playing Grand Theft Auto 3.

-When I need to change lanes but there's another car in the other lane. So I put my signal on and slow down so I can get behind them. But the guy behind me doesn't like me slowing down so he pulls around me and blocks me. If you had waited a second I would have been out of your way.

-When I'm trying to turn right on red and someone in the left lane has pulled their giant SUV or truck so far into the crosswalk that I can't see around them.

-When the person behind me drives so close to my bumper that I can see their eyebrows knitting in anger even though I'm driving the speed limit. And then the mirror says "objects may be closer than they appear." If they want to go faster than the speed limit, there's another lane right there.

-Why do people zig-zag between lanes even though they just end up waiting at the same red light that I do?

-When people are pulling out of a parking lot and they pull their nose into traffic and just sit there.

All the cars I've owned have been manual transmission. I feel like I'm retarded when I'm driving an automatic car. They just seem so much slower and boring.

That being said, I take more risks than I should while driving. I do get a big rush out of it, although I know in the back of my head that I might die from it and I'm causing others problems. There's still nothing like downshifting and speeding in between two cars or doing some other stupid thing.

If I was able to, I would rather have a motorcycle. I haven't ridden a motorcycle in almost three years now, but when I did I loved it. An R6 would be perfect for me. I don't commute and the weather is never too hot or cold here, so having a bike would be a good choice. I also would prefer being that anonymous biker with the helmet.

American here who lived in germany for a few years and learned how to drive in germany. German drivers are more efficient and superior to that of american drivers by far. I can vouch for that because I was taught in an actual german drivers ed course. I dont know much about american driver classes(if they even have some) but the one in florida only needs a week of drivers ed. A week?! That fucking ridiculous. when I was taught in germany we studied and practiced for months on end.

I dont know how to drive automatic because when I was taught in glorious germany you start out driving in manual. It is only when you absolutely CANNOT learn to drive manual (ie that you are a female or someone with severe autism) that they change to automatic for you.

And the driving does not take place in vacant parking lots. From day fucking one you were placed in the heat of traffic in cramped cities with narrow and winding roads all the while you had little to no idea to how manual worked at the time.

I am very fortunate to have been taught how to drive in germany by actual germans. I have become an efficient driver because of their teachings. It was no easy journey to get to this point either. For the longest I would have trouble with learning to drive manual but I was determined to learn. Now it is all second nature to me.

You look like you live in out in an open area like in the country. I would love to get that vehicle but I would have no place to park it when I drive home.

But if I ever do what is that particular model called?

Nevermind I found what it was. The question is how to you get people to pay you for their oils?

It looks like you are out in the country which is especially nice because you can have a vehicle like that. Here on the other hand I may not have a place to put it but if I get my own place I just might be able to.

My hobbies seem to be pretty bizarre for a /jp/er, I regularly track my car... Pic very much related.

This thread disappoints me.

Guess I'm the only NEET who never leaves the house and thus cannot drive ;_; you were all joking the whole time.

My mom forced me to get one and I have to go to college because of it.

If I had it my way I would do everything by bike and have a simple paying job that does not require any kind of college degree a lot of social interaction and it would be simple stuff like manual labor (stocking shelves, tilling the land anything that would be a no brainer but would still get me paid enough to live on my own comfortably as a NEET ;_;)

Except these kind of jobs are now all taken because of lolcorporates.

But lets not get into that...

What model?
I wanted to get a Rally 200, but someone suggested that I should just buy the new PX instead since old models require a lot of maintenance.

But what kind of jobs are left then?
