After having Shuffle! in English installed for more than 2years, I feel like reading it.

I know it's "bad" but I just want to take it easy with something light, basic romance,
is it a bad choice? is there something better in English? (How about Da Capo and such?)
By the way, I know that mangagamer released a V2 for some of their VNs, I found nothing for Shuffle but I want to be sure, is there a V2 for this VN correcting typos and such?
Have something been done about the PS2 port? (Mayumi etc)
I feel like starting with Primula first, is it possible? How is her route?

It's alright if you can stand the art style and avoid the more annoying heroines

Thank you.
Could you tell me which heroines were annoying for you?
Is there a specific route order you have to follow?

It's absolutely horrid. It's not the genre, but the quality of the story, writing etc. that is bad. For better light romance, MuvLuv Extra is more amusing with a better story. Then there's KiraKira and Yume Miru Kusuri that are relatively, but not entirely, light. I hear Da Capo 2 is good, and you don't need to play the first one to understand it. Shuffle! is a waste of time that I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Nope.

If you think there's enough plot in this shit to justify enforced playing order, you're completely off. (If you've watched the anime, btw, that had far better/more complex plot...) In her route you get some stupid dramatic background and then a couple of crappy h-scenes (peeing in a park and stuff) and some forced drama to end it. It's one of the less horrible ones, though. I'd say Lisianthus was the worst, though none of the routes were anywhere near worth the time they take. The heroines are shallow, pretty cardboard characters and the plot is basically just "they all love you, pick one to date and fuck", and it's not executed well in any aspect.

for light and basic stuff it's pretty ok, just don't expect anything else, despite the whole demon/gods premise, it doesn't actually have any depth at all to it

Thank you.
I'll try to read Primula's route first, and try Muv-Luv later
(already read YMK, and still not planning to read KiraKira)

I'm sorry to bump this thread, but it looks like I'm a retard, or something is wrong.
I am under the impression that you have to finish a route or something, in order to unlock Primula...right?
I have read a few walkthrough in order to confirm this fact, but they contradict each-other.
Do I have to finish ONE route? The whole game? Nothing, I just failed because of autism?
Sorry.

Nerine's route, I think.

Ok thank you.
I hope it's not too shitty or I'll have to skip/download a savedata.

Is that game with the Mayumi route translated already?.
