i got the audio sounding pretty good in desmume. using synchronous mode, sync method "p" with cosine interpolation. frame skip set to "4" to combat the occasional slowdowns.

what's annoying me, though is visual. i can either have the 3D models or the backgrounds but not both. maybe it's time to get that flashcart and play this on an actual DS.
