I'd join but my PSP's analog stick is utterly trashed right now beyond redemption. Nothing I've tried has worked and I don't feel like ordering another potentially broken analog stick assembly. Nothing like going to land to a super pound and instead running in the opposite direction of the monster's head, doing the twirling attack.

I have it set up with a couple online friends of mine and when it works, it works great. Kai's underlying network code is absolutely terrible, though. Even with proper settings it takes us 30+ minutes to all connect to each other finally when we go to play.

If you've got a 2k or newer, you can look forward to Coldbird's adhoc workaround plugin. I haven't checked for updates on that since he passed it on to that other guy to work on, though. Still, it should circumvent the need for a PS3 or dealing with Kai's bugs.

It's one of the few modern games that manages to be difficult without the game cheating you. It encourages strategic play rather than spamming buttons, too. Overall, it's been a very solid series.

For your analog issue, why don't you use the remap option that comes with the CWcheat plugin (it enable you switch the analog and digital buttons functions), it works with some games, with others not, for example I remember it working with MH3rd Portable but not with God Eater Burst.

Everytime I begin a new game I main a new weapon.
I'm currently using LBG and I got to say it's the weapon I had more fun using in times, I made a Khezu D set since I always play with a friend, and I just enjoy only using my potions to heal him since the monsters barely hit me (usually are the minions that get a hit or two), and also I'm the one dealing the greatest damage but he thinks I'm just there for support so it's really fun.

I have 2 cats to help me kill things, one named Sakuya and another one named Hisui

I main hammer and HBG in Freedom Unite. Normal 2 should make quick work of bullfango. Just take them out before you make any serious effort at the target mob. What I found more annoying than anything was dying after being paralyzed by a vespoid (or dying to the vespoid itself) while scoped with felyne heroics active. It's especially bad during the old desert g-rank plesioth.

I do try to use other weapons, but I'm only half as good with other weapons at best. I could never not use the Greatsword, I can't win most fights without it.
