I want to start reading Fate/Stay Night.
What do I need to know before starting? What do I need to download and install?
Thanks in advance.

It's shit

What you need to know before you start is you'll be in a lot of fan wank threads in your near future. You might as well start now and jack me off.

i do not understand this thread

Don't make threads, join them.

Download the game and the PS2 game. Use voice patch which uses files from the PS2 iso which you need to have. Use the newes Realta Nua CG and music patch. You are set to read.

Oh and you might as well read Tsukihime first because you don't need to do complicated shit like that, and you will find out whether you won't hate Nasu's style.

I've already read Tsukihime and Kagetsu Tohya. They were great so I thought about reading F/SN. Thanks alot for these informations.

Use the flowchart. Makes hunting down/avoiding those bad/dead ends easier.

You think people incessantly called her a "little girl" to hurt her pride?

Her body stopped aging when she drew Caliburn, which implied happened somewhere around the ages 13-16.

Congrats, man. It's a very involving world with cool concepts. The quality of the text can be not so great at times. It's not perfect but it's a very solid product.

The game and the patch, that's all. If you want extra stuff like voices and extra CGs, follow >>8068931's instructions.

Ignore >>8068949 and just save in a different slot at every choice (there's plenty of save slots for that). The bad ends in f/sn are all really easy to get except for one.
