There's a government-subsidized, revolutionary tablet computer coming out in India. It's called the Sky, whatever word that is in Hindi. It runs Android, is a touch-screen and does wi-fi. It costs $35. 35. The main complaint about it in India (hasn't even released yet) ... is that it costs too much. That the government shouldn't be subsidizing such "expensive" technology when it could be putting that funding into the task of providing everyone in India with electricity (a lot of Indians don't have it still).

Next time you get another $100 figure to admire on occasion, or a pillow to snuggle, you better not think of yourself as unfortunate in life.

Except that's not how it works.
Being unfortunate in life doesn't mean you're the worst off, it just means in comparison to your environment, you're in bad shape.
It's like how you can't compare homeless living conditions in one country to those of another, it's just too different to make any reasonable argument or comparison.
