A little bit when I was young. I don't think it had any of the intended effects, the effect that an abusive parent would expect is change in behavior, instead of merely temporary hatred and plotting, so instead of actually changing my behavior, it made me a somewhat anti-authoritarian person who welcomes technicnological solutions to that problem - which is not a trait that I dislike in myself. I'm not a person to hold grudges over such irrelevant things that happened so long ago, so I'm not in bad terms with my parents, if anything, I probably caused them more problems in the long run.
