I really don't know why I bought it. I didn't enjoy the gameplay or story much the first time through, and I probably won't enjoy it this time around. Might as well make Caster into my're waifu this time instead of trying to homolust Archer, at least.

Pretty much yeah.
It works surprising well for the servant battles though as the more data you gather on them the more of their choices you can see.
Random trash mobs, not so much, as you'll have only 1 or 2 visible on the first few encounters, and if you get a streak of bad luck, you can easily get ganked.

I got my fate/the fact booklet last Monday at EB games when I went to midnight launch for BF3. I went into the store early at 11:30 to pay for my copy of BF3, and they gave me the fate book then because I had the game on preorder. I read it outside while standing in line surrounded by airsoft kids.

My scanner in the home office (where I am now) is terrible. It is this old HP all-in-one and it causes my desk to shake when scanning/printing, and I never even loaded drivers for it on my newer PC build... My newer printer is just a color laser and has no scanner.

I was going to scan the book in my office downtown using the better scanner, but I haven't been there in the evening lately and I have been working out of the home office a lot this week. When I am there during the day the receptionist would tease me mercilessly if she caught me scanning Chinese girl cartoons.

I'll go buy a better scanner tomorrow, I guess... I really do need one. Someone asked me to scan my MC Axis stuff as well.

I'm going to be a sad man if this hasn't been uploaded by the time I get up.

Still thinking about what Servant to pick this time. I already played it with Caster and Saber in JP version, and I may go with them again, since I liked them very much. On the other hand, I'm curious about how Archer plays...

By the way, a word of advice to fellow Caster players: get ready to have your ass kicked for about three chapters until you get all your stun spells. Especially in the Archer battle. At least the rewards are great.

Servant battles are also the meat of the game, so it would quickly make the game very boring if you cheat at them. The only time I looked up the guide to beat a Servant is the MOTHERFUCKING LU BU battle, since I had no idea when he shoots his NP. Turned out that he may shoot it as any one of the six actions, and the rest of them are Waits, so I couldn't stun him. So yeah, that didn't help me too much.

You'll still have a hard time even if you're using a pattern guide while on caster. Since there's still those 2-3 different possibilities from the revealed moves, and it's situations like this that will fuck you up badly. The battle will last for a long time due to caster's puny damage without spells, and every single hit she takes will be painful. Like, if you fuck up one or two rounds straight you'll be dead for sure.

It's totally like a different game playing with caster and with saber.

Otomedius was delayed until the 8th at Gamestop. Hopefully they didn't learn their lesson from Deathsmiles, and will be sitting on a few extras of the collector's edition, instead of limiting it to pre-orders.

Each level increases exponentially in terms of battles needed to get the next level, and I believe it probably maxes out at 4 or so. Least, that was the highest I ever got it.
