Plastering images in the background would be far too distracting. I just have the Horo silhouette on the right side, which I'll change once I put time to learning how to do that.

I'm not sure if what Appchan does is considered a radical change. The colours are certainly better to look at, and working with 4chanX helps to make many things more convenient.

It just doesn't install or appear in the list of installed themes on the add-on toolbar. It shows in Tools>Add-ons>User Styles but nothing actually happens when I install it.

I've installed a dozen other themes with no problem whatsoever. Dunno what the story is...

For some of the styles from userstyles.org, you have to add some urls, for the raymoo one i added www.4chan.org,sys.4chan.org,boards.4chan.org,>>>/f/. to add the extra urls, go into edit for the style.

That's not really what I was asking. For him it won't even install at all. Normally it would install and just not work until you added the correct URLs.

The Reimu skin may have outdated code? I don't know. Perhaps you could edit a skin that does work to make it the Reimu skin? Unless the layouts and style are different.

On the Web it is. Not only are people customizing their widget app blog pages, they have to find hacks and workarounds to modify CSS and insert JavaScripts just so they can have things their way. Half the time you do stupid things like break the box model or go against what the original designer had in mind.
