Honestly, I only use the wikis to look up the actual characters anyway, and there's never any linking between the real ones and the fakes ones (from what I've seen), so I've only been using Wikia.

I like the formatting better. The regular wiki looks less interesting (giant Remillia on the side when your friend walks in nonwithstanding) and all the information is just thrown up on one page which is unappealing.

In my opinion, people who make fan wikis sometimes forget that they're more than just databases.

The two wikis have mostly the same content only because wikia kept everything the original contributors wrote before they got sick of wikia's shit and left. I'd expect the wikia Touhouwiki to suffer in terms of covering anything in the future.
