Get the three GSC Sabers. You can probably find normal (Excalibur ver.) on Mandarake if you look out for it.
Lily is geting a re-release so go ahead and preorder it.
Alter's Saber Alter (maid ver.) is the best Alter but you aren't going to be able to find it (even on Mandarake) for less than $200 so go with GSC's. I don't know where you'll find it though. Somebody's selling it on MFC.
Oh and, GSC hasn't made Extra yet but they will eventually. I wouldn't bother with any of the other company's ones as they're shit.

I found it pretty difficult at first, but once I killed Bell Gargoyles it's been fairly smooth sailing. Killed 7 major bosses so far. I did have trouble on that demon mini-boss with the 2 dogs in the Undead Burg though. After killing Ceaseless Discharge and seeing that that mini-boss is actually a normal mob and comes in packs of 2 I NOPE'd out of there. Not to mention the 10+ absurdly powerful demons chilling out in the middle of the hardened lava lake.

You should really get a cheap air compressor, I got a pretty good one on sale for $35 at Canadian Tire (think walmart crossed with home hardware and some automotive store). If you really need a quick air source maybe check out a local gamesworkshop, I know they sell air cans for airbrushes and they should work with your airbrush.

As a general question here directed to anybody, how much on average in USD should I be looking to spend on a PVC incuding postage? How much is shipping usually on Mandarake to the EU via SAL small packet? I tried adding it to my basket but even on the final confirmation screen it doesn't tell me the cost, I have no idea how much a PVC weighs either so I can't compare it with their charts. Also, the disclaimer with regards to SAL small packet and item damages is a bit discouraging, anyone ever had any trouble with it?

I usually use DHL for Mandarake orders, but for a single figure SAL could be anywhere between 800-1.5k yen or so, depending on the size/weight of the figure in question (if it's not too old, try looking it up on HS/HLJ, they usually have weights listed), and how much packing it ends up needing.

It'll depend heavily on how complex/large the figure is, and whether it has a big fancy base or anything; just looking at a few recently released things, Lat Type Miku weighs in at a mere 380g, while Animation Ver. Strength is 873g.

Remember to add on extra for Registered if you're paying via paypal.

I use SAL for stuff from AmiAmi/HS/HLJ all the time to the UK, and I've never had a problem with damaged packages (and it usually takes around 2 weeks or so to arrive).

Quite a bit more expensive than SAL (roughly equivalent to EMS, I think), but massively quicker. A couple of times, I've had packages go from picked up in Japan to delivered to me in London in one day (I think it was about 30 hours, all told, unless I screwed up the timezone conversions), although it usually takes 2 days or so.

I mostly use it because I'm impatient (although customs concerns usually override that, hence SAL for my AmiAmi orders, etc), and I've had some bad experiences with EMS (fucking ParcelForce).

It should be 410yen, going by standard Japan Post rates (unless Mandarake add some extra on top).

Also, RSAL is required for PayPal payment - they won't ship anything via methods without signature confirmation/tracking if you pay with paypal (presumably too many people dicked them over with paypal claims, since without tracking for proof of shipment/delivery, paypal automatically sides with the buyer...).

The insurance is rather moot, though, since (at least for all of my stuff), they always undervalue things and mark them as gift to evade customs, and the insurance would be based on the declared value.

The Nymph is okay, her head seems a little big proportionally to the rest of her, I feel like I want to put on the armor and cape to try and compensate for that. I'd give it a year or more before we see the release of anything that isn't a GK.

I guess it's plausible that there could be some nendoroids though, but again since Yuru Yuri wasn't a dominating force it might take a while for them to show up.

Working for comparison sold ~33k (yuru yuri sold 11k) and besides a sega EX figure which hardly anyone has, there still haven't been any nice, scaled Working figs released, and a Popura full-size nendo is still many months away despite the show airing a year and a half ago.

Still though we'll probably see some fig prototypes for Yuru Yuri within 6 months, it just might take another 6+ before they're actually released. And even then there isn't a lot they can do with them; the show was mostly just dialogue driven so there aren't any specific poses or anything else interesting to work with. I guess the most they could do is give Kyouko a rum raisin ice cream and that's about it.

But, I've also noticed that the GSC Makise figure is being released/re-released in March. I really don't think I can stretch for both, but I can't decide. Lightning weapons outdamage everything until you hit very high numbers in multiple stats. This allows for pure tank builds to outdamage or match pure strength or dexterity builds. This is shaping the current metagame.

Resistance provides more than double the defense as any other stat, and may rival Vitality due to game mechanics.

Defense may be capped at a certain point.

Pyromancy spells does not rely on any stat.

Scaled weapons, in general, are far weaker than in Demon's Souls.

You can leave convenants without penalty if done by the priest.

Ring of Fog removes foe's ability to lock-on you.

Relative to her body size I assume it's fairly accurate, Beretta 92 is a fairly large handgun and she is a schoolgirl after all. Also, I don't really see all the complaints about her legs. Sure they look a little weird, and standing in that position feels awkward, but I didn't even notice it until it was pointed out to me.

The figure as a whole, in my opinion, is very well done and the painting looks great.

Final boss is as much of a joke in the face of Iron Flesh as any other boss. Even without that spell, he's still easier than Smough and Ornstein. It's a really fun battle if you don't cheese (read: cheat) your way through it.
