Already finished Ein, Cal and Mio routes. It's awesome.

Ein's my favourite. The confession scene at the church is really well-done and heart-warming. I was afraid he would die after though.

PoI IMO. Planetarian is nothing special/emotional for me. It might be because I already know how it ends.

Planetarian is very short, POI is pretty long.
They are both very good.

Mixed with the smell of gunpowder was the smell of cooked flesh. Funf squatted and removed the mask of the dead Neun. Her face was tensed in a look of extreme pain. It was little Neun, who had been the youngest of the girls operating under master. Funf had always covered for her and encouraged the scared Neun. To Funf, she was something like a sister. Somewhere along the way, the two of them had grown close and exerted a healing effect on eachother. Funf tightly grasped the hand of Neun, which hung as though it had been set there. She would kill him, she would surely kill Zwei. She would tear out his bowels and kill him. But where was he? Returning to her senses, Funf soon noticed that the door to the women's toilet had been opened at some point. The third girl who had died instantly was still clutching the second girl's hand.

It sucks that the only translated version is that "Aniplay" (ITT retarded marketing that makes your product sound like a cheap knockoff that's trying to cash in on the success of something else) DVD.

Just Phantom of Inferno. Thankfully, Phantom INTEGRATION isn't muddied by shoddy translators.

That's not translated right?

Not like I can speak Japanese. And it seems kind of ridiculous to either dedicate years to learning the language or moving to Japan (nice place to visit, not a place that I'd want to live) where I'll be surrounded by it and using it on the regular basis so I can learn it quicker.

Maybe I should finish that statement.

It seems stupid to learn it just so that I can read visual novels.

I have too much pride to do such a thing. I could learn a language that could, you know, further my career options or something istead.

>> No.797642

>>797545

Indeed.

But as it is, the only places where its practical to know Japanese are Japan, schools in an area with a large Japanese population, colleges (but you'd want to be a native Japanese speaker for that), and in R1 anime, manga, and videogames companies. (and the former two aren't looking like stable careers these days)
