I haven't played the game, but the first fight with Berserker in the animu made me wonder why didn't Rin just send archer to kill Ilya while Berserker smashed Saber. After that Archer could have easily killed Saber, as she was wounded. Or, she could have let Saber live and manipulate that naive little boy to become her ally and kill him when he isn't usefull anymore.
