You can view the raw data, notes and waveforms and edit them, also play aournd with different dithering methods...

Also if you have a custom SNES cartridge and a working SNES, you can play the music directly from the SNES itself. How cool is that?

Okay, this might be a long stretch but it's worth a shot.
I'm looking for an album, I only remember what the cover looks like...

The cover was somewhat simple. Reimu & Marisa were standing side by side. The art was in a simple style, If I remember correctly- Marisa's hands were crossed with a slight grin. Or was it Reimu's hands that were crossed? I dont know, but the girls were side by side standing. Very basic.

In the background it was kind of like a pixelated mess, the kind of pixels you'd see on a jpg with heavy artifact distortion or a super old, low quality video. The background was graphic, but Reimu & Marisa standing in front were perfectly drawn.

The songs in the album were just touhou remixes... techno, trance. I know there was one remix of Flowering Nights... that's all I remember. Most of the songs in it were from impersihable night if I remember correctly.

Can anyone shed some light on this? It was released in Comiket but I forgot the year- it was recent though. It was either C76 or C78... I don't remember.

If anyone could look through their collections from these years for a cover that matches my description and provide the title, I would be forever thankful.

There are some one-offs like koutaq's Chinese Tea from SCARLET DESTINY album for instance and I remember hearing this instrument on one of Floating Cloud's tracks as well, but it's really a rare exception to find an arrangement that's done this way.

Since I don't visit that message board I have no idea what exactly is going on there. I remember reading on pooshlmer couple of months ago that someone from DS took the effort of retagging albums that were posted here, so I assumed this is what's happening. It boggles my mind because it shouldn't be that big of a deal to download these off p2p or wherever and encode/tag them however you like instead of using someone else's uploads.

In any case I'd rather not derail the thread into this sort of discussion. As I said I don't mind them being posted elsewhere if it's stated where these encodes come from.

This is the best album released during C80 in my opinion (I did think it was DJ Shimamura - ELEKTRONIX but it turns out that isn't a C80 release). Wasn't expecting this to be as good as it is; I've sort of noticed that Doujin groups don't produce D&B as well as non-doujin producers of the genre, which is understandable to some degree (they can produce Hardcore/Trance/other EDM as good or better than non-doujin producers, but not D&B for some reason) but this release was excellent.

Even if Drum & Bass isn't your thing give it a listen, it's quite short at only 5 tracks long anyway.

The album features music from such circles as forest306, VAGUEDGE, Minstrel, chipion, Sun Flower Field, kairo, Heta no Yokozuki, BUTAOTOME, Diao ye zong and of course TUMENECO.
