You drag the files you want to extract onto the exe, extract them, put the mods you downloaded into the proper extracted folder, then repack them by dragging the folder back onto the exe.

Could someone tell me what this error says?

I'm guessing it means something about the CD or installation. If so, does anyone have a direct download for the AA CD, besides the HF one?

I originally installed the game on an external drive on my home computer and it worked fine. Now I brought that external drive to university and it gives me this error when I try to run it. And I forgot to bring the iso files so I can't just reinstall it or something. And I can't torrent at University.

Why did Hongfire have to disappear in my darkest hour?

alright /jp/, here is some info about getting this game running.

1. First get the game, torrent or buy it whatever floats you boat.
2. Install the game, following tips given here, specially renaming the shitty moon chars in game folder.
3. install the char maker or AAEdit again given in that wiki page.
4. get your patch from here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3X00AJ33 , it includes almost everything you need to get english translation.
5. install the patch, if you get a faggy warning that means you screwed up step 2.
6. update the english translation from http://www.mediafire.com/?anjzbdpih5gmza6 , download that 7z file and copy it into
X:\illusion\AA\wizzard\AA_PLAY\mods
wizzard will be installed by the patch itself.
now run the Illusion_Wizzard.exe and install the latest patch.
8. Run the game using AAPlay English.exe
