Executive summary:
- Translation underway
- Text reinsertion working

Translation is moving along and we are assembling the scripts accordingly. In any case, we don't need those links posted again, and moot will hear your complaints by email.

There are only two outstanding issues that Huge may be working on. I do not anticipate them being solved by PoC. Proportional wordwrap IS anticipated to be ready for use by then.

If the textbox can fit 3 lines then we should make it fit 3 lines. If at all possible we don't want to restrict the translator, and this is also considering that the majority of the files so far are wrapped at a maximum of 3 lines.

Here's a sample of some of the longer ones:

【数年前、探偵育成のための教育機関ができた】\n~この疑問点を覚えます
か?~
"A few years ago, an educational institution was created to raise detectives"\n~Remember this point of uncertainty?~

だとするならこれは「怪盗事件」として区分され\n探偵は「特事捜査権限」
を行使して介入できる。
If so, then it would be marked as a "phantom thief case"" and a detective could come in and exercise his "special investigative authority".

So my question is, are they still in school in the second part of the game? Because I would kind of lose interest if they're all adults or something.

REpatch uses a proprietary format for its difference files, and I had never even heard of xdelta until you mentioned it --- not surprisingly, it's bloated like everything else GNU. Perhaps you should actually INSPECT the damn file before you jump to baseless assumptions, idiot! It's only 4KB [of which 512B is the header, 660B UI resources, 1400B+ imports, and another 1K of UI code, giving the patching code <370B to occupy.]

Not all the scripts need to be translated. Some seem to relate to internal stuff the player will never see. And in the past you said those test_ scripts contained choices and stuff but all the decisions are located in the main scripts.

I hear what you're saying, but do you really think all this needs to be translated? I mean, maybe the 戻る will show up in game, but the rest seems doubtful, and I don't want to potentially screw anything up why changing things to English characters if I don't have to. I think it's best to just translate the main scripts (there are 141) and if there is Japanese left (like the name of locations), then to find out where it is located and go from there.

He had said "They seem to contain choices." but I do not see choices anywhere. The choices are inside the regular scripts. And either way, from what I can see large chunks of the test scripts do not need to be translated (entire test scripts as well maybe) which is why I replied to the fact that he says progress is "Files 27/160 129/668KB" when that is every single file and KB of the text.

My recommendation is here: >>7893890

Anything that starts with "@" is a label. Leave that alone. However, almost everything else in the test_* scripts do contain choices (see attached image.) When/if we figure out how to access the test scripts, having those translated would be very useful for locating any errors etc.

The progress is purely based on what's been uploaded by the translator; filesize is correlated with Japanese version of the files. Thus, when he finishes the main scripts and uploads the test_* scripts, whether or not he decides to translate them (and we highly recommend to do so), the percentages will be updated accordingly.
