Talent is a predetermined trait that lowers the learning curve for you or increases your potential above average people in certain areas. The truth, however, is that the majority of most craftsmen, artists, etc is spent learning and perfecting fundamentals; a level attainable by average humans at variable rates of course. Talent just tells you how much further you can get after you reach that level of perfection.

I'd say it's as simple as skill = talent * practice. People with more talent just take less time to become good, that's all. Sure, there are people with an almost complete lack of talent, and it will take them tons of effort to become as good as talented people, but even then with enough practice they can surpass them. I don't think there's such a 'perfection' and as such it isn't limited by talent. If you think 'perfection' exists, then that just means you've given up on improving past a certain point.

Personally, I really value any form of critique or constructive criticism. There are many areas of drawing that I need to work on before I can call myself a decent artist, it's always nice to have others offer their opinions and give feedback on your drawings.
