So /jp/, how do you feel about the death of Lead Writer Aura, of 4Leaf studios? Do you think it will significantly delay or end the project? I don't think they can quit now, they've come too far, and Suriko mentioned something about having a rough outline of Rin's path, but it still must be a crippling blow to their morale to lose one of their lead devs. Right now they're still doing damage control via irc and forum bans, but I figure the news needs to get out sooner or later. Instead of pretending we don't know, we need to give them our support and show that after working on this project for so long, they simply can't give up now.

A-22, I think

>> No.7829252

You mean they were actually still working on this? I'd given up on it ever being finished a long time ago.

Most of the writing is either on rough drafts for the final act or finished, and all of the art assets are done. I recall predicting it being finished in august or September, but obviously without Aura that won't be happening.

spoilers

This game hasn't been in development for over a year. Most of the people involved with it moved on a long time ago. the rest spend all day messing around on IRC, and like to come to /a/ and /v/ for attentionwhoring. This is just another desperate measure to get attention

How did he die?

Thailand sauna?

oh /jp/, you so tsundere for katawa shoujo

That sucks dude. I may have butted heads with those KS devs in the past, but I've never wished harm on them.

Then again this is probably fake so I'm glad they're still doing OK.

>> No.7829363

How do they know he died? If you suddenly died, would anyone else on the internet even know you died or miss your or suspect anything?

>> No.7829367

>>7829349
Hope it's not true and things go well, but then again, a couple months ago I was also declared dead by suicide, so I'm pretty skeptical about things like this without proof

other than /a/fags and newfriends, people on /jp/ have already accepted death

no one cares about some piece of shit "dev"

>> No.7829393

KS was good except for the writing.
Since they spread rumors about the dead of the writer, I'm now convinced that the project leader IS the writer.

Everything fits into place now. Good art, interesting setting. The only thing that could go wrong with that project was the leader being over protective over his ideas and not accepting criticism.

That's another reminder for me to stay away from 4chan team projects

>> No.7829615

Wow. Nothing in this thread is true, do these sorts of rumors about us always come up? I'm not on 4chan that often.

>Do you think it will significantly delay or end the project?

Yeah, I'd say it's crippled now. I'm confident that the KS devs will still manage to churn out their project despite the handicap, though.
