>Action takes place in modern Poland. Zenon Gąbczewski - the protagonist of the story, has a typical, boring life. He is ugly, unpopular and often bullied. Zenon is also not in best relations with his sister, with whom he lives together. Protagonist (against his will) attends elite private high school. Valentine's day is coming soon, snow begins to melt, winter's ball is fast approaching. Zenon has only one objective - wreak vengeance upon the ones he hates, and acquire the love of a beautiful girl before the ball. In order to achieve these he is not going to stop at nothing, even if he has to kill somebody or sign a pact with a Satan himself.

Please, ignore the poster known as "mugenjohncel".
He is barely a minor smuggler and black market profiteer who labours under the delusion that he is a great tycoon.
His business is sneaking $4000000 of vegetables past customs, deny responsibility and frame colleagues.
Truly, he is a laughable figure.
The state of his country is worrisome.
I would not desire him as a comrade, nor as my friend on the internet.

If it were perfect, it wouldn't fucking lock you out of routes with a nondescriptive bad end, leaving you no idea why you get a bad end regardless of your choices.

For most polished, I'd say Chaos;Head, definitely. The graphics are great and the atmosphere is awesome, but most of all the sound design really makes you feel like you're there when shit happens. Every environment has its own background noise, every tiny action has its own sound...THAT is polish.

(Picture related. Remember the URLs Shogun spams at the start of the story? They actually work, and they have pictures like this one, that aren't even in the game and were specifically made just for people who visited that URL in real life.)

Doesn't mean much when the story is shit and the pacing horrible.

Polished should mean that it excels in every areas including story.

>They actually work

Okay, I'm impressed.
I must admit that even after all the VNs I've played, I'm still really impressed with CLANNAD for the sheer amount of content they put in.
Bonus scenes you'd need to stray off anyone's route to get, extra scenes in other routes after you finish Fuuko's, that one chain combo scene you had to virtually finish the whole game for, and even an entire non-romantic route where all the heroines just have fun playing baseball.

Also, Jet Saito.

>Polished should mean that it excels in every areas including story.

An anime can be very polished and still have a shitty story. A game can be very polished and have a terrible storyline.

How well a story is delivered does not depend on the quality of the story itself.

What you mean to say is that inspite of everything you still didn't like the story and pacing. That's fine, but don't try and conflate discussion about aspects of presentation with discussion of the writing itself.

>>7811387
To be brief. The game has 16 different routes and endings with one True Route and ending unlocked after reaching all the other endings.I didn't bother spell-checking anything as I already think I put too much effort into such a silly project. Translated the main menu and added a few additional translation notes so you won't get lost in the randomness.

Enjoy! If you can that is.
