Reimu is kind of like a tsundere, but not in the usual sense. She wouldn't go out of her way to act bitchy towards you, instead if she likes you she will still treat you with apathy like she does with everyone else but with some very subtle signs of affection every now and then.

If you are Reimu's husbando you won't find her running to the door to greet you when you come back, but head to the living room where Reimu is nursing a cup of tea under the kotatsu and she'll greet you and give you a wave with a smile - something that she won't do with anyone else.

This is how I like to view her too. I think it's a mix between tsundere and kuudere (kuudere is the one which is calm and aloof, but without being completely emotionless, right?). Specifically, I think she would hide her deredere behind her kuuru side, like a tsundere hides her deredere behind her tsuntsun side. Tries to appear calm and collected, which is the side she's most comfortable with showing, but occasionally gives some hints of deep affection for you.

Come to think of it, that sounds a lot like what one would expect kuudere to be, but I guess many people forget about the dere when making a kuudere character.

It's late at night, you've already going to bed and dozed off when Reimu came back home. She's been danmaku battling all day to resolve another incident and seems to be in a bad mood. Without saying anything, she climbs into bed with her back towards you and it's lights out as soon as her head hits the pillow.

Next morning you wake up to find her breath on the back of your neck and her arms wrapped around you. After basking in her embrace for a while you try to wiggle yourself out, the movement causing her to stir.

You turn around, look at her arms still clasping onto you, then back to her eyes and raise your eyebrows as if in challenge.

"What? It was cold last night." Says Reimu, still keeping a poker face.
