I quit this game a long time ago. The only notable bots I had were an Ouka and Patty Lop tuned to 40 WLK. I also have a Geograsis F-type and Pacifar, but I was never good at AIR.

I assume that these bots are now substandard compared to new OP bots. The only thing I felt made me notable as a player was the ability to get leadership in most of the epoch battles I played using a Patty Lop and two obsolete Shino hoppers.

How is the arena currently? Still populated with numerous pay2win bots that will give me trouble earning even a top 15 rank?

Decided to hop on the game for old time's sakes. Got the Geo to 40 TEC/FLY, only needed to do one high TEC alpha tune, simply replaced the snow vulture BS with the Izuna's tuned one. Your predictions about coming in at ranks 5-8 were fairly accurate, but that was in DOS rooms. Forgot that this game was pretty fun when your team actually does well.

Rolled the Inventor gara once after getting some UC to convert to RT and got a Geo G-type. I hear its pilebunker arms are good, but I'm still disappointed. At least it wasn't another F-type though.

Also opened all the lotto cubes, notable bots I got out of it were a Tarantulic and a Bugsycait.

I probably won't be playing this game that often with my college classes starting soon. Feel free to do whatever with whatever on it.

From what I've played the overwhelming WIZ imbalance has mostly gone away. I even played a few matches where WIZ had statboosts. However it's mostly shuffles still.

Also assuming you're a pentagon and not a totally shitty player then like 5 rooms will be offlimits to you, BR 3 and below, BR 2-4, and 3 rank restricted rooms. Also there always seems to be a level 5 room going on since they moved them into a rotation like movement like most rooms.

The game seems fairly more relaxing now as there doesn't appear to be that many EVEs, Aquila Girls, and Toybox Girls anymore. However I have a small host of OP bots acquired with offer RT that I've tuned fairly heavily so I'm unsure how well I can judge that.

On JP it actually depends, before the introduction of faster healing (new Winberyl, Medi Aide Healgun, Melfi) high rank battles were often full team rushes where AIR/hopper LND distracted while ART secured territory and took out the powerspot, it wasn't uncommon to see rapid fire bit SUP instead of the heal bit. You can still see fast games like this but it isn't as common nowadays. Their territory holding prowess is indeed superb, their ARTs usually team up to cover the entire area so that the moment you fly into their zone you're on sights of 2-3 people.

An interesting part of their playstyle is that ARTs with Broad Radar prioritize flanking sneaky gits instead of shooting at more available targets so that the rest of the team becomes aware of them and can bring them down.

Easy to learn third person MMO, customization and explicit appeal to perverts are its strong points; many robots are cute girls, some dressed in various fetish wear. Customization involves a) assembling a robot out of varying parts, each granting stats and sometimes an attack, though robots have size limitations and cannot equip too large/small parts and weapons and b) editing the model and paint of those parts, which you can use to turn your robot into whichever character you want, provided you have the necessary skills. Four robot types, land (LND) are the fastest runners focusing on distraction and melee but have a weakness to beam weapons, AIR have 12 seconds of airtime as opposed to the 4 second of other types and thus focus on high mobility and avoidance capacity but take 2.6x damage from explosives, artillery (ART) units are loaded with long-range, heavy hitting weapons and excel at holding points but are weak to melee, support (SUP) can disable enemy bots and assist your side in various ways but are formidable in straight-up fights nonetheless since they can use some heavy-hitting weapons like bazookas and are not weak to any shell type. Robots are leveled up and enhanced with cartridges, which modify their dashes into leaps that more easily avoid enemy fire, let them reach maximum altitude more easily, decrease damage from certain sources, increase their capacity (used for holding more costly and usually better weapons and parts) and so on.

Speaking of the airtime limit, perhaps it would be better if LND/ART/SUP could be airborne for 6 seconds instead of 4. That or a reverse-Nicole SUP that increases airtime for a certain period of time, so that you can have L-sized missile barrels flying around on Green Field.
