Pretty good. They don't have to share your hobbies but it's nice to have people who actually care. Those "hi" and "bye" people are called acquaintances. I've got fuckloads of them and only a few I actually somewhat "like" and they me. I've got like 3 or 4 "homies" with who I can always drink or smoke some weed when want. And I can talk about my shitty life with them and get some mental help, but only when we're drunk. I live by myself off scholarships and loans I get for taking online uni classes. I have absolutely zero associations with anyone online or offline, family included. I think I've taken friendlessness as far as it goes. /jp/ really is my only form of social contact since I don't post anywhere else.
