You want to be a bride so you can have a parasite growing in your stomach area for nine months, causing weight gain, bizarre body shapes, bizarre food desires and frequent sickness, and only being able to expel that parasite after living with it for nine months with the most painful natural biological experience humanity knows?

Kidney stones are only really really bad if they're drawn out.

I had gall stones and I must say it was probably the most painful experience in my life, but that was mainly because I laid on the basement floor moaning in pain for a week before anyone would take me to the hospital.

That's #2. It's certainly a painful experience in its own right (one I had to experience once myself; hopefully that'll never happen again) but it still falls rather short.

>The pain of cluster headaches is markedly greater than in other headache conditions, including severe migraines; experts have suggested that it may be the most painful condition known to medical science. Female patients have reported it as being more severe than childbirth. Dr. Peter Goadsby, Professor of Clinical Neurology at University College London (now University of California, San Francisco), a leading researcher on the condition has commented:

>"Cluster headache is probably the worst pain that humans experience. I know that’s quite a strong remark to make, but if you ask a cluster headache patient if they’ve had a worse experience, they’ll universally say they haven't. Women with cluster headache will tell you that an attack is worse than giving birth. So you can imagine that these people give birth without anesthetic once or twice a day, for six, eight, or ten weeks at a time, and then have a break. It's just awful."

Well I don't want to help derail the thread again, but the short story is that most of your personality is determined by birth. Your upbringing/environment/etc has much less to do with it than most people want to believe, although it can still make a significant difference in more severe cases.

Science =/= creationism. I'm not well studied in religions, but from what I've seen most of them are supporters of the '100% of personality is from upbringing' mentality, hence their tendency to push children into church to "condition" them.

Well, I never said personality is 100% upbringing, that's stupid. I even said that genes only shape biological aspects of your character. Wanting to kill people for no reason isn't biological, being easily driven to make such extreme thoughts is. And even then, upbringing can change that to a degree.
