People don't like UFO OST? I loved both stage and boss themes from stage 4-6 (except maybe Fires of Hokkai). Admittedly I didn't really like Stage 5 theme and the boss theme but it really grew on me after a while.

Haven't been paying a great deal of attention to the music in Ten Desires so far since I've only played it once. A few more runs through will make the later themes stick in my head before I can whether it's really good or bad. At any rate, I really like the Stage 3 Boss theme, looking forward to hearing some arranges of it in the future.

Stage 1 Lunatic can become a bit chaotic, but she can easily kill every fairy on the screen.
Normal fairies and spirits are mostly killed with focus fire anyway since you simply have to move from left to right or vice versa. They simple melt away.
The 3,4,5 fairy group before/after Kyouko midboss can be killed by quickly flying from one side to the other without focus. I couldn't do that with Marisa's lasers.
In Extra, the large fairies at the beginning can focused and killed before they even enter the screen

I haven't played with Sanae that much, but don't remember her taking significantly longer to clear the screen.

Sanae shot is okay, though boring, her wide is still decent compared to the others.

Reimu shot is basically a scaled down version of her Border team. That shot was pretty ridiculous though.

Also, normal mode may be pretty easy, but its hard mode is up there.

First in MoF, she no longer has the role of high power narrow shot.

Then in SA, her first shottype she spreads when focused and unspreads when focused, her second is a complicated mish mash, and her third is medium powered narrow shot compared to ReimuA's high powered narrow shot which also has a bomb that is better in practically every circumstance than MarisaC's. But then again Reimu's other two shottypes were shitty as well.

Then we got UFO, all Marisa had going for her was piercing ability with annoying sounding lasers that were so bright they obscured bullets. I won't even bother talking about her second shottype in that game.

And in TD, they take away her piercing ability. I really just don't understand.

Any life/bomb fragments collected during trance doubles the amount collected. Generally, you want to kill everything as soon as they appear to top off the trance meter and use it when life/bomb fragment-dropping fairies appear. I'd even go as far as saying that you should use them in between spellcards as well, assuming the goal is to beat the game.

I've already 1cc'd Normal and Extra, but my score is too embarrassing for display. It's all thanks to getting a lot more bombs and lives through Trance, truthfully.
168m in Extra, where I've gotten near 150m without even getting close to the last few spellcards ;_;

I believe the card could possibly be done "vertical only".

An easy way to do it with Reimu:
Fly under the enemy's skirt and shoot. If there are any bullets coming to a stop next to you, evade them by moving as little as possible.
Every time all bullets stop, quickly go down to the bottom, redirect them there and move back up again.

If you repeat that, the following will happen:

All bullets stop, you move down to redirect them. As you reach the bottom, she switches to blue and the bullets stop again. You can now fly up to her and redirect the bullets again. From there on, quickly return to the bottom. Then, you just stream all the bullets by moving up to her as slowly as possible.

There will only be bullets coming from the sides, none from above or below you.

As an very average player I did find it funny that I found the fairy waves on stage 2 lunatic to be easier than on normal, because the faster bullets on lunatic meant that I didn't have to worry about near impenetrable curtains and waves doubling up.

Kind reminded me how I did better in Fairy Wars on hard than normal because I could get better ice chains.
