I like Makoto Hirasaka's art very much and so does ZUN. But ZUN's art fits better in the games.

Also the fighters have generic bland and soulless portraits in my opinion.

I like Makoto's art and maybe I say this because I'm used to ZUN's art, but it doesn't feel right in the games.
