Re: background, what do you expect? Most kigs are shy introverts who stay indoors. I don't mean that in an insulting way, just as a matter of fact. Most photos will be taken indoors against a plain background. It's better than having a background that distracts from the subject, anyway.

As for poses, there's only so many poses in the world. Posing is also pretty damn hard to do right. You have to be incredibly aware of your body, and it complicates things when you're wearing a strange costume with a large mask over your head (and, for M-F kiggers, padding that alters your body shape). My advice: exaggerate your positioning as much as possible.

The problem is, no matter how much information I give, it doesn't seem to help you dumbasses. Like earlier I gave a basically-direct link and people were too stupid to follow it.
