I'm curious at how to do some of the achievements. Particularly all techniques found, come in one turn, win fight while confused, and taking Arumaeruma's tail drain attack.

I'm also curious as to who the last entry on the encyclopedia is for.

For techniques I've gotten Demon Decapitation, Thunder Thrust, Demon Skull Bashing, Death Sword Chaos Star, Meditation, and Sylph. Don't know what else can be gotten.

I also want to know which fights the come in one turn and win while confused achievements are possible on.

And then Aruma's tail drain attack. I can delay the fight quite some time, but I can't seem to get the special attack out of her. Surrendering doesn't work either.

Can anyone help?

You need to ask for an evaluation 50 times (so just replay fights on the encyclopedia with a monster with an instant kill attack)

The confusion monster is the iron maiden... The last one is just a random chance of summoning sylph with a a different image (she's tired instead of all happy). You can get the tail drain attack, just have to focus on healing nonstop. If you have full SP but > half hp, guard, etc...

I'm not sure who can beat you on the first turn offhand.

The techniques one means all MONSTER techniques. 1. You only have to have them used on you, not die from them. The ones you've seen show up in black on the monster data screen in the encyclopedia.
2. Come in one turn is hard, I can't remember how I got this
3. Page 66537 and Iron Maiden both have confusion attacks, so you have to beat one of them while confused.
4. Arumaeruma uses Tail Drain after a certain amount of time has elapsed in the battle. Basically, just stay alive for as long as possible and she'll use it.

Actually it appears I have the Sylph tired achievement long before I had 50 summons. I had 14 before and I don't remember a tired scene in recent memory, but on maybe like my 3rd summon of her. Getting it to 50 didn't show me anything special either.

For those who want the "come in first turn achievement", the easiest way to do it is attacking the mimic when she's closed so she'll counter and you'll lose first turn.
Also the tired Sylph is random, she has a 1% chance of appearing when you summon her, I got her after 80 tries, some people got he rafter less. All chance.

That translation's slightly off, the achievement you're missing is the "having been hit by all the techniques you can beg for". So I don't know, either you missed some greyed out move in the profiles or you weren't hit by all of them.

What I meant is, the encyclopedia complete achievement means you did see all the moves, however, you didn't get hit by some of them even if they're unlocked in the encyclopedia. Try redoing the fights after getting sylph, as she makes you auto-evade a lot of moves, and all those monsters who have a charged move that basically spell out "guard and make me miss".

Just finished the game, and I have to say it's way better than I thought it would be.
