Then its only natural that witches - which are just a little more common - drive them.

But I don't want to be Perrine to get a superior tank. Perrine sucks.

Is it possible to be an Ottoman witch with a frilly fez and a scimitar?

World war 1 tanks sucked though. The only "good" ones were, amusingly, french.

Pic related, german tanks in world war one.

You forget how technologically superior the French were from Napoleon leading up to WWII were, then they got surprise butt raped.

what the fuck is even going on

Looks pretty cool. I love mecha musume.
I'll browse through the rules, but I probably won't play due to scheduling difficulties and also because I'm also paralyzed with fear by the thought of social interaction.

You might have better luck with /tg/. I hear they're not too fond of this sort of thing nowadays, but I think they'd be reasonable enough to overlook the premise if the actual mechanics are sound.

It's some shitty tabletop game they're playing.

There were also some Italian WW1 tanks. Will those appear?

Seeing as how I wanted to make a thread related to this and this one's already here, I'll go and talk about it.

OP maybe forgot to tell you guys what the hell he even has, which is...kind of a mistake. Dive into the Sky (DitS) is a little game I've been working on for roleplaying as airplane girls. You know, mehca musume and all that. It's fairly light on rules, but needs playtesting.

I'll be monitoring this thread to discuss things or just see how many folks on /jp/ might be interested in the game, or talking about it, or whatever. /tg/ is the more appropriate board, but it seems to be in a mood to blow up over anything remotely Japanese, cute, or involving women right now.

All else fails, I say we derail this thread into general mecha musume and/or busou shinki discussion.

Germany and France were about equal technologically following the France-Prussian War. Germany was just late to the whole tank game.

On the other hand, Germany brought chemical warfare, flamethrowers, and submarines.

So this is all ground focused?
How are you modifying DItS for that?
Or are you just ignoring all the air combat rules?

The rules kind of assume air combat at the moment, but switching them to the ground really wouldn't be a major change. So, it'd work just fine on the ground. The only odd thing about the rules in air versus ground or in general is that everyone is in constant motion. In most RPGs, you can move up to some maximum speed per turn. In this one, you are either sitting still, or must move a distance equal to your current speed. You can control just how fast you're going very accurately, however.

I'm kind of working on a more general mecha musume project (which needs a nice name), which will probably have different movement rules so characters can have an easier time of tactical combat using cover and so-on. This will expand greatly upon the rules in DitS, with the aim of making a game more like armored core crossed with busou shinki. Lots of customization, and so-on.

Dropped my name, hope nobody minds.

Sorry, I, the GM was way today, so I had no idea this had been reposted, though we are now looking at Tuesday 6 PM GMT and WW II.

>> No.7658410

strangely, I'm not slightly interested in strike witches, but I'd like to play this.
