You're a little too late. Had you come maybe a year or two ago there'd be a daily thread. But these days not really, no. Some people play Melty Blood Actress Again though. But it's nowhere near as convenient to play online with AA as it was for AC.

You really just have to get it at the right time of day, otherwise you get the wrong crowd.

The most current verison is a ps2 game without netplay, so most people play it in person.
Luckily I have a fighting game group that meets weekly in my area, so I play it all the time.

Keep in mind that you can either emulate it if you have a decent computer, or if you want to play it on console you need to get a modchip, a japanese ps2, or a work-around like swap magic. Just bringing a laptop is the easiest option, but I use a ps2 with swap magic. Also, you can simply get an iso and burn it to a disc if you're too cheap to import.
