That's also the only time they're ever shown together. We know nothing of them apart from "they know each other", which is hardly any revelation. You're basically just making up things based on inconsequential "clues" that were never intended to convey anything of note. Of course, since it's a canon work, we can't ''dismiss'' it, but it conflicts with ZUN's point.
