First release had her hair too light so it was more pink that anything, Al hair color is purple and so their second release had the "original" color, purple (still too light for my taste).

Its not just the panties color, even they changed that to be more green (instead of blueish).

Apparently the detolf has been discontinued or something, so I have been trying to find an alternative, mostly in vain. I managed to score this from some family, though, and I think it looks pretty good. Unfortunately it's a short-term fix since it's already maxed out, and two of my figures are looking pretty lonely on my shelf. I know the glass looks smudgy under the flash, it doesn't look so bad normally - this thing has to be older than I am, so we cleaned it and cleaned it but that was the best we could do.

My phantom minds fate came slightly damaged, and given AmiAmi's moods and the limited stock numbers at release I didn't try to return it.

Oh yes, Rise's face is terrible on the Alter one. I don't think their Yukiko is too bad; her face is fine with me, but she looks too skinny in some angles with that pose (pic related).

I'm open to both P3 and P4 merchandise. The anime's coming up so someone might take a stab at some P4 figures and Alter's making yet another Aegis, which looks good but will probably be expensive seeing as it's 1/6.

She's from an illustration in Naruco Hanaharu's Shoujo Material. I don't know if she has a chapter in the book, or any of his other works, but I'm fairly sure there's absolutely no reason to put a demon tail and a trickle of blood on her with some statement next to it that has absolutely nothing to do with the character, since she was just drawn as fap material.

Now, don't get me wrong, I like pictures of figures and I have no problem with putting them in some nice location, or doing some editing or whatever, but when you try take the focus away from the figure and to how cool you can photoshop or how edgy and analytical you can be, then I actually get frustrated over it. Speaking of garage kits, I'm having a hard time telling what paints are good. I ordered two models just to see if this could be a new hobby.

The general problem seem to be that here in Sweden I'm not running into the mentioned brands from English/American sites. So it is hard to tell what is similar and recommended.

I don't really have that high standards though. I'd like skin colors that look like tan/skin, some somewhat glossy colors for example black thighs. The less poisonous and advanced the better.

Masking tape also confuses me, since they talk about tape that doesn't rip paint off, and the products are not labeled as "paint ripping" so it isn't easy to choose.

Lastly I've also not understood the "drilling" part. I understand I want to use some iron parts to glue pieces well together, but how do I make the holes? When drills come to mind, I can only think of electric ones.

About tape, at least in my country... there is painter's tape which is like masking tape but isn't as sticky and doesn't rip off paint. Its used when painting houses as well.... in my country it is usually green or blue (masking tape being tan).

As for drilling, there are small hand drills that you can buy for modeling. Personally I use one from games-workshop. Its a small, hand moved drill. The I use cut paperclip pieces on the holes to hold them together. There are other drills out there... just search for a "hobby drill" and you will find a whole bunch of em.

"Adequate ventilation" means that the paint fumes won't fill your room/house and make you pass out and suffocate. That can be as simple as opening a window or a door, as long as the fumes escape rather than settle and accumulate.

As far as painting it, well, I know I would absolutely ruin a garage kit. I have kinda shaky hands and really not much visual artistic talent. I think that's one of the reasons why I'm so fascinated by visual culture. It is beyond me.
