Eh, 3d printers won't be able to do a paint job justice, ever. That's why modelers, garage kit makers etc always, always paint themselves. Even if a printer could print parts of sculptures with perfect detail/gradients etc, the nature of 3d printing would still make you want to have to touch it up to get it to look comparable to a normal fig.. that is, it would take a lot of puttying/sanding etc to smooth out all the small striations that, in the foreseeable future, will always be present in printed 3d sculptures.. you then can only paint after it's smoothed out completely.

In case you need another person to tell you this, Rin is impressive. She's way taller than I expected, I have her standing next to Saber Triumphant Excalibur on my shelf, a figure I would think to be one of the more vertically impressive ones, and Rin makes her look small all of the sudden. But yeah. The thing is that the poses always have it pointing down because LOL BADASS REVOLTECH POSES so it's a little harder to compare. The "ears" aren't as nice because of the molding limitations for sure.

The Kotobukiya kit generally has nicer details, since it's a 5.5cm larger plamo, so it better. But the proportions...I'd disagree...and yet the image I made expecting to demonstrate this doesn't. (leg angles make things in the lower body kind of wonky, by the way, and the Yamaguchi thrust might be responsible for the waist) Still, the thing is Kotobukiya is accurate vertically but it still looks way too bulky to me and I've yet to see it posed so it doesn't look really stiff-which may be why it seems bulky.

Alternative comparison for the Revo. Crotch seems to be sitting lower for some reason.

Yeah, but those ones are closer than the first at least-I'd say it's more angle than pose other than the waist angle. With a Revo you can never be sure if it can actually replicate that pose anyways unfortunately.

I think there's different art for Unlimited than Alternative that's somewhat more dramatic as well.

Well those are the joints they use in all models, even if they could have used the ones used in their Fraulein/Queen's Blade lines.

I think the elbow joints are worst as they are too ... round, shoulders would work better if they could just push the joint more in and it would mask it better but I suppose that creates problems with balance.

Yea BRS animation ver is shit compared to the other two and this is coming from a guy that has all the BRS figures.
First off the it has so many problems.
For example the twin tails broke off so easily and the painting was a bit off (boots where more yellow than white). My newest addition, Black Gold Saw is in my opinion the best Animation ver figure out of the three.
Other than that the other BRS figures are awesome the Black blade figure the Original BRS figure and the figma are all better than her animation figure.

I heard they're going to show Saber Extra at WonFes. The face and original coloring look really nice, just hope that it stays relatively the same in PVC form. I think her face looks best in this angle, but then her body looks too short? It's not a problem with any other angle.
