2. The enemy doesn't smack you upside the head.

The alt. card for it turns all your fake bullets real, with the same stupid stipulations.

That's because it's a Special, not a regular bullet/melee. Aya's Wind Dash and Marisa's Broom Ride both are melee that could knock her out of it as well (I think Yuyu's Fandance and Youmu and Tenshi's swords can do so too). Alice does it with f. melee attacks, which is a totally different issue.

ANY melee attack, irregardless of whether it's an A move, a Special Move, or a Spellcard move will trigger Perfect Maid. Iku's Drill Punch, Iku Drill Punch Spellcard, Aya's Wind Charge, Aya Crusher Spellcard, Yuyuko's Fan Spin, Youmu's Sword Slash... I've tested those and Perfect Maid punishes them.

It's just that some melee attacks are the exception, like Alice's 6A Doll Lance, Iku's 623BC Scarf Whip, Marisa's 214BC Broom Ride, etc. I think it has to do something with collision detection of the character attacking Sakuya; if some part of a character's hitbox makes contact with Sakuya while they attack, it's activated. Hence why some melee moves, specials and spellcard get punished while Alice's 6A, Iku's 623BC, and bullets in general counter Perfect Maid.

When you j.2A then just backdash out of the explosion, I always ಠ_ಠ. Gonna have to figure out a way to get around that. I always miss opportunities when you're dashing in my face to avoid the explosion and I just sit there.

Those damn landmines still fuck up my strategy. j.2a to RUNNING THE HELL AWAY is the only thing that seems to work.

Reimu's damn teleport kick is still unpunishable, and one of the times I tried I Got an OMNIDIRECTIONAL DEMON BINDING CIRCLE in my face. That damn thing seems to have no startup frames, just instant rape.

Combine that with the barriermines and those damn seals larger than an actual character that travel 200+ degrees to hit targets, Reimu's just plain recockulous. At least my RANDOM SPIRITS EVERYWHERE seem to do some good.

Also, j.6a is God Tier.

It's not like it's a secret. There's a huge gap between the 5B and instant j.6A. If I don't do it perfectly on the first available frame (this is like a 2/5 thing), there's a large enough frame time for a character with a 623 attack with invincibility frames to pop me out of it. The worse my execution, the more space there is for you to 623. Hell, even a spellcard with invincibility on the first few frames will punish the shit out of me. I even had a Sakuya get a Perfect Maid out in time, though that was a horrible execution on my part. But I will fall for that ONCE, and only ONCE. But then I have to resort to secondary pressuring techniques that rely on your fear to leave to corner (5B instant j.2B), and that doesn't work on the brave.
