tf2 killed tf2. the game is shit. a few weeks ago it was a pay2win fps game that you needed to buy. this week it's still a pay2win fps game, but it's free so more people will pay2win.

valve is crap and fps games are for children.

That being said, TF2 has always been a step down from TFC. Bought it with much anticipation when it came out, and stopped playing a day later.

it depends if it's a straight port like how hon should've beem with 100% of the heroes and not brown&bloom diarrhea then it'll be great. if it's like other projects from them then it'll be complete crap. maybe they're designing it around the release on a console. how amazing would that be? imagine the tears and anger.

I gave it a look over when they made it free, since it's finally a price I can afford.

I played the tutorial games and then a game against bots since I'm too uncomfortable to play online games without someone I know and I only know one person who I can play them with.

None the less I will voice my opinion on the matter. I do believe the main problem with ftp is the increase in kids playing. Almost all of them either annoying or can't play for shit, or a combination of both.

There is a mod some servers are starting to use which auto-kicks ftp players. Now this seems to have every non-premium (even non tf2 players) annoyed. People who pay can play with those who did as well and kids can play with other kids/people who don't care who they play with/people who want easy kills. Now while some ftp player's are complaining about what they got for free, I ask this, If they don't even pay for tf2 what is the likelihood of them donating to a server? That, other than the whole, keeping noobs/spammers out is the main reasons to do auto-kick ftp users, which the ftp users nor valve should have any voice over.

Valve is crap? I thought Half-Life and Portal was pretty good. And I still play CSS nearly every day.
