The three videos play somewhat different from eachother, but they all still shows how the flow of the game is rather unique compared to other fighters.

How easy is Zenia to learn? I've already decided that I want to use her now but I've had a lot of trouble getting even not sucky with her.

Zenia isn't really hard to learn, though harder than Akane/Heart/Kamui/Saki.
What makes her hard to play is that she has zero room for error. If you are using punishment 1 bad efc and you can be killed in one combo.Most people get discouraged because Heart and Akane are both much more newb friendly and are A+ to boot.

From my standpoint Zenia is hard to play because you have to be all up in that shit, as they say. I'd play Kamui but the overlapping inputs cause me to do random parries all the time on pad.

Found the Angelia player to be particuarly interesting.
But videos like these makes me wonder how SF players so easily can talk about their games as if they were the unquestionable "master race" of fighting games. And this is coming from a former SF fan.

Depends on the time, your settings and your rating. If I set it to 3 connection and same skill, it can take up to about 10 minutes to find a match around midnight EST. Playing at prime time and using a character that has average PSR, I can find matches pretty quickly. The game lets you screw around in practice mode while waiting anyways, so it isn't a big deal.

Of course, I have no idea what it'll be like for EU. Especially since you guys are getting it on both systems.

It should be just as good as with the updated Blazblue netcode. As it is, for all I know, the same netcode Arc System Works used.
So that is, unless you are playing with overseas players, then things should work just fine. Though, if you are playing against overseas players, well then it may also be fine, just not as likely.

I'm not 100% positive but I think all versions for the same console will share servers. So there will be a PS3 server (JP/US/EU) and a 360 server (JP/EU). I could be entirely wrong though.

Also, as I have already lost my money, shipping fees included, it isn't exactly as suitable to be purchasing the US version, so that would have to wait. I've started to be able to get over the pad thing where it's at least around as comfortable as before I switched but it still horribly limits my options. Sure, three and a half normals means it doesn't hurt your basics like it would in a six button game but AH has enough weird inputs and things to make it as or more demanding than any other air dash fighter. It's not SWR or Phantom Breaker.

People are just weird about the homing button for some reason.

To be perfectly honest, sticks are greatly overrated. I am not saying they are bad, because they aren't, but they aren't even close to being "obligatory" as some elitists might make one to believe.

There is a lot of subjective taste/preference involved with the whole issue, but mechanically speaking there isn't much of a difference.

Mechanically speaking, sticks in general, have the advantage of having the potential to cover a whole of 360 diferent directions, for a full 360 degree radius. Of course, there are the gates and all that, so this is slightly aside the point in the case of fighters.
But for fighters like these, the games only interpret 8 directions anyway, and you don't need any more.

A D-Pad can do any directional combination just as fast as a stick, it isn't mechincally inferior in this aspect.
An advantage over the arcade layout of fighting sticks though, is simultaneous press of multiple buttons, given how you can have one button under each finger. But given how this isn't much of an issue, with how you still can press lots of buttons simultaneously on a pad without much of a trouble at all, and with the macro buttons for multiple buttons that practically every console port have nowadays, the problem, slim or not, is practically rendered null.

A stick is a lot nicer on one's fingers/hands though, ergonomically that is. Extensive use of a D-Pad have the possibility to cause blisters and that kind of stuff with extended use. A hardened "gamer" thumb, won't suffer much of any of this at all though, so with a bit of gaming one won't really suffer from a D-Pad either. So this is really a moot point unless one haven't been playing for quite a while.
