This is probably pointless to ask, but I decided to try a VN so I downloaded Saya No Uta. When I add the English patch files the game just stays black. Any of you know how to fix this?

Did you set your locale to japanese?
Also, I seem to remember that the translation patch made the game extremely long to start up, especially on shitty computer. I think there's a read me with the patch that explains that. Did you try just waiting a few minutes for the game to start?
