So ... is there a reason people like this game besides relating to the psychotic, rapist MC? I'm just wondering if I missed anything.

>> No.7498899

I heard it has crossbows and hit and run and stuff

>> No.7498902

Original story, interesting twisted characters, interesting conclusion. And Nanaca.

>> No.7498910

They're stupid.

>> No.7498911

Well, I didn't like it much.

>Original story

I think repeating the same week over and over has been played out a dozen times already.

>> No.7498917

I personally found the game fucking terrible. However Cross Channel seems to be one of those things you either love or hate. I sometimes feel that people who love it go a bit too much on the defensive sometimes and treat it as if it were the manifestation of some religious figure.

>> No.7498919

still stuck at the mini routes. I don't think I will ever go back and finish it.

>still stuck at the mini routes
You could have used a walkthrough

With a bunch of insane kids from a school for mentally ill people?

Also. I forgot the music.

Not him but 5 good songs=/=good OSTs, most of them were mediocre/bad and repeated so much they became horrible.
And I liked Cross Channel.

Minus the "school for mentally ill people" part, yes.

Nanaca crash was honestly the best thing to come out of this game

Most of the people who think it's great haven't read many VNs before hand.

>> No.7498942

Tastes, I guess. I'd say only 5 songs aren't good in the OST.

You could say the same about any VN.

I assume you guys fall into the crowd I described.

I loved it, but I'll admit it was my babby's first VN. I just really enjoyed Taichi at all times, humorous, serious, or insane

>> No.7498970

>>7498957
Why? I'm the guy who said "Citation needed". When I read something, I like to know if it's reliable information or not.

>> No.7498974

>>7498951
Extra is definitely better than that joke of a story.

>> No.7498979

>>7498970
Let me rephrase my statement then. I won't say Cross Channel is bad because I believe taste is somewhat subjective. In my experience, however, the majority of people that think Cross Channel is great or one of the best VNs, haven't read all that many VNs to begin with.

>> No.7498989

I couldn't follow along with the MC being completely fucking weird 90% of the time.

>> No.7499007

>>7498989
It is a weird game for weird people.

>> No.7499012

The setting "I woke up and all the people were gone" seemed interesting enough for me. I don't know if there are any VNs with same concept, I believe there's a short story like this by Ray Bradbury or some other sci-fi guy. The art was great too. And, of course, MC. Not that he was very relatable, he's no Fuminori, but certainly more entertaining than your usual Emiya Shirou.

>> No.7499044

It's entertaining, funny, dramatic, and erotic all at the same time. It's not the second coming of christ, but it's a very good game in every aspect. I don't know how else to explain it. It's a game without any real holes in it, unlike other god tier VNs like SR and Clannad that are extremely good at some things and not so good at others. If you can't enjoy it, well, go play something you can. You don't have to play a game because everyone else likes it.

It's a case of which shit smells worse. You dig?

The ideal situation would be where both are absent, obviously.

I don't get it.

>> No.7499137

Not thinking it's god tier doesn't mean I don't like. I just think your bars must be pretty low to consider those two titles 'god tier'.
