I used to think the same way about conventions until I actually went to one. It's actually pretty damn fun, because for once you can stop being nobodymustknowmysecret.jpg about your weeaboo-ism and just let it all out. Everybody else is there because they like the same thing; for once you can socialize with people just like yourself and just have a lot of fun.

There's always a reserve of press section tickets but I don't know if they will release them for general population. I may or may not go depending on how I feel. As a music interest I don't really care for Miku so if they don't let press take photos (shit I don't even know why I'd want to take photos of this particular concert; it just doesn't have that same appeal as the live person concerts) then I'll probably pass. also, hide your camera good if you're non press. Nokia theatre staff take it seriously and will ask you to leave (read: escort you out) if they see a camera and you don't have a press badge.
