Oh damn, I didn't notice the multiplayer was local only. That hurts it a lot. Maybe I'll pick it up when it's a dollar, games on steam always are eventually.

I'm waiting to see what people think of this as a single player game. To me, it looks like a shooter that was designed for more than 1 player, so if it sucks as a single player game, I won't waste my time.

It's pretty decent single player. Somewhat uneventful on lower difficulty levels, but higher ones can get pretty interesting.

Oh god, I just unlocked Judgment mode. This is DoDonPachi 2-loop levels of bulletrape, and half of them aren't even cancelable with your bomb.

I don't think it's a bad game single player. There's still a level of quality to it in that aspect, but it's definitely a multiplayer experience. Having friends play with you gives the system a few changes I gotta say I really like.

I bought it. It's fun, but it does feel like it was meant for more than 1 player since a lot of the time enemies fly off screen before you get a chance to kill them (due to the whole 16:9 thing). It's good though. Definitely worth the $9.

I like how each stage has its own leaderboard too. I spent a couple hours on stage 2 and got what seems like a decent score. Dying before completing a huge chain is rage inducing.

...Well, long story short it's mostly because of the multiplayer. IT'd be kinda strange if everyone could cover the entire screen with their combined shots.
