I'm looking forward to it, though I think I'll probably stay clear of /jp/ until I've cleared Aranie's route at least.
I love the feeling of getting to new CGs and hate having them spoiled for a game I'm playing, no matter how shitty or nukige the game, and considering how many people who can't read it are looking forward to this I guess CGs are going to be posted full force without spoil tags

Ikusa Megami Zero

I know nothing about the series and so far it's pretty awesome, thanks for bringing it to my attention a few days ago

I don't want to discuss much until I'm finished but I remember that Serikas C-level techniques were so horribly powerful, I felt like an avatar of death, slaying everything
well, that only lasted until I met Highsierra (or whatever her name was?) and got horribly horribly raped

story-wise I just got past the firesex
I was really sad about how things turned out for Serika and Satia, but that scene ruined the mood for me

I'm sorry for asking this question here but I thought it'd be better to ask it here rather than make a new thread.

I'm trying to run Symphonic Rain and I'm getting the no-text bug.

I've tried installing it to the default directory, putting the font file in my Fonts folder and the game directory, and when I went to change the Borlands registry key, it didn't exist. I added it anyway ([HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Borland\Locales] "C:\Program Files\KOGADO\SRTE\SR_qc.exe"="MOO") but I'm still getting the bug.

Thanks for the responses.

I'm using the Japanese locale with Windows 7. Again, the registry key for Borland did not exist in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE (I created one in HKEY_CURRENT_USER previously) so I created one. The person who suggested I change the registry key entry there didn't mention putting it under Locales so I first created a key for Borland and put in the game location information and the string value. That didn't work so I did the same for Borland\Locales.

I still get the no text bug.

I started reading Tsubasa no Oka no Hime, and it seems weirdly unfinished. I guess that's not surprising considering what a mess the first 'trial' was so Snapdragon must have been feeling the pressure time wise. The scenes feel disjointed and the transition between some of them aren't really that smooth. What's really bugging me though, is a character sprite being on a screen with only one expression and pose while only the face near the text book changes. Why bother? Why have the sprite? Why not just show the face near the text box and show the backgrounds instead?

It's an economy solution I guess, half-bust costs less than full sprite variations. Muramasa did the same thing.
And yeah, it does feel really a patchwork of random scenes at times (actually literally, since some scenes are trigged randomly and even loading up the same save could give you two different scenes in places), though the charm of the game was the everyday mood anyways, I can't say I hated it. I found Vivian and the three sub-heroes in particular to be a lot of fun to read no matter the situations.

Currently in chapter 5, still enjoying the shit out of this gem. It's still one big tragedy-festival of course, seems like Serika just can't catch a break. Chapter 3 was especially soul-crushing, though I agree that the fire sex was kind of dumb.

But still, what an amazing scene (pic related). I think he fact that I didn't know anything about this series made it even better because it just hit me like a brick-wall, it's probably less ohshitohshitohshit when you know that it has to happen.

yeah, it's pretty confusing what exactly happens there then, I remember being confused then too. If I remember correctly its something like that Haisherra was experimended on in some distant past and that place had something to do with it. and because of the fight something activated there and some shit happened. also it's good to remember that there is some highly advanced technology buried all around the world, from the old world.

>>7437721
diveX has the "7th route" in it, not that is that plot revelant, but brings up some insight what could happen if things happened bit differently. also there is prequel story about Kou&Rain merc. years during the period between Gray Christmas and the events of Dive1&2. the rest of stories are fust some fun side-stories, without much revelance to main plot + mother fucking NIRA QUEST.
also new gameplay things. and you get to use pretty much every unit in the game + some more like Muramasa, altough the number of weapons compared to Kou are limited for other units.

I recently got around to playing the Sharin no Kuni fandisc.

I read through the houzuki route and I was basically fapping permanently at how incredible it was. Then it ended. I was sad.

So I played the route with that girl who died at the start of SnK, and it was decent.

Then I decided to go for the Touka route since she was my favorite in the original (mainly because of how incredibly dere her H scenes were) and.. It's nowhere as good as the houzuki route was. I've read about 1/4 of her route I'd guess, put it on hold for a month now since I've had other things to read.

Question is, do the girl routes get any better? Is the Touka one just exceptionally bad on the fandisc? Are there any "hidden gems" I might miss if I just uninstall the game and not read the girl routes?

Nah, they're all pretty meh, though Ririko's is sort of decent, and Natsumi is good since it's like the only time where you actually get to see her personality(the circumstances from the first game pretty much makes it so that you never really get to see what Natsumi is like). Why is this game so hard? In the first game I only died when I left the battles alone and didn't issue a single command, but now I'm getting raped and the game is pretty impossible if you're being a jerk with the girls. At least now I understand why Tact is so important.

It's a hell of a lot harder for the non-route girls to build up enough spirit for even ONE special attack in the second game. Also Mint's Flier Dance is horribly nerfed, use it on a large group of enemies and it barely scratches each of them. On the flip side, Ranpha's Anchor Claw and especially Forte's Strike Burst got buffed; Anchor Claw can continue on to another nearby target, and if Strike Burst kills something it unleashes a chain reaction of total rape on everything in the vicinity (but if it fails to finish the target then you're SOL). But the trick is getting them to 100% in the first place, I had to do so much more micromanaging of them in the second game (mainly constantly retargeting enemies). Also enemy fighters are bullshit just like in the first game, they're way faster than their stats claim (they can outrun anyone but Ranpha, have to micromanage to make sure the Angels don't go chasing one all the way to the map edge) and most of the characters have an awful time hitting them (especially Chitose). Mint is the only one who can make short work of them with her omnidirectional lasers.

I learned to love the allied ships in the second game; they were pretty much useless in the first game on the rare occasions you even had any, but in the second game they're vital as they provide you with way more consistent firepower than the Angels can. I had multiple occasions in the late-game missions where the allied fleet outscored the Angel Wing.

I just can't see Japan putting a high-ranking government official on the front lines, but the demographic of the post Alternative 5 world might be that desperate. Still I am hoping against hope that this is a version of the Unlimited world where Takeru mans up and takes the 00R for himself.

Okay, I don't think we ever actually see Will's pants. But presumably as he's in the US forces, he wears pants similar to Daryl's which are the sort of camo pants rather than say, Mel's as she's in the UN forces.
I don't think Integral Works includes this extremely casual stuff in the uniform and stuff section it has, and I don't feel like checking it this late.

How about Ayakashibito (sort of)? The stalker isn't really a heroine though (she has a rapescene by others), but the game has amazing school life comedy in my opinion.

The first delays fucked up the preorder flow completely and shuffled the big name releases around a couple of months, most lesser companies are probably taking a hit and hope to make up for it by delaying to safer months = more preorders.

>> No.7456892

>>7456872
Or Occam's Razor. Shit's always been delayed all the fucking time. Practically no software makes it to market on originally scheduled dates and since Japanese do shit for marketing, sell dates are usually months old right up until it's almost time for the game to come out when they finally have to change it.

I played sisters~夏の最後の日~ 初回版 and I enjoyed it, the story wasn't anything amazing but enough of a plot to keep it interesting.
The erotic scenes were fantastic in full motion and only lacked more of a female oriented focus in terms of sexual acts. What I mean by this is simply that I wish the protagonist was more fleshed out and not so much only a walking penis to be worshipped. The stronger the bond between two characters the more interesting and rewarding the sex scenes are, but too much of a silent male lead sadly.

I'd rate it highly and reccomend it.
