When I was young I wanted to be a chef, like my hero. In school, I can't really remember. I don't think I had any dream job. I ended up going into electronics engineering because it was the only thing that seemed possible. I dropped out.

I'm actually planning on studying psychology next year. I'm quite good with tests so it should be easy to get in my local university. Maybe I could even follow the academic career. I've been meaning to learn German for some time... I'm still 19, so I'm sure that I can do it if I want! I hope I don't get too lazy.

I wanted to be da police... instead I went in masonry.

First I wanted to be an architect, but that quickly died away.
Then I wanted to be a Cavalry Officer, but I have asthma, so that didn't work.
Now I want to be a Historian and a University Professor. I'm going to start my BA in September.

Why? I'm planning to get into it myself in mere months, but with every day I'm getting more nervous about it due to what I hear on /jp/ from people in this specific field, or just generally people failing at getting out of the NEET lifestyle by getting an education.

I wanted to be a doctor, but then I realized it was too much trouble and even after I tried I couldn't handle the needles and the blood.

Now I'm hoping to get into Computer Engineering, have my test tomorrow.

The professor thought it would be a good idea to have someone in the industry come in and speak to us. It boiled down to "you guys suck, you have no job prospects, you should have been salesmen, my company is awesome." I was pretty depressed at the time, and I quit a while after.
