In the first route, he fucks King Arturia and destroy the holy grail which happens to be evil. In the second route he fights against himself from the future and fuck one of his tsundere classmate. In the third route he fucks his girl friend because she was raped and he doesn't want to be a superhero anymore but he still save the day.

Really, the only woman in Fate who would be even close to tolerable in real life is Saber. Everybody else will castrate and murder you if you trigger their psychosis, except Rin and Taiga who are annoying in other ways.

I don't have any. All the characters there were awful.

I really like Kuudere so I love Saber. I just hate how things played out in the visual novel because Shirou is a terrible person, particularly in Fate. "Good thing that girl almost got raped, that'll teach her to act more feminine." And the whole "rejecting Saber's ENTIRE FUCKING BEING AND SELF-DEFINITION BECAUSE FUCKING MISOGYNY" throughout, of course. I just fucking hate that PLOT necessitates Saber going with Shirou in that route. I like Saber outside the forced and bullshit interactions with Shirou. That is to say, I love Saber OUTSIDE OF CONTRIVED PLOT BULLSHIT. FUCK. I love Fate/Stay Night setting and characters, everything but FUCKING SHIROU.

You're jumping to conclusions with Shirou's character. Were he to hate all women that show autonomy, he'd have been inclined to despise or belittle Rin's power as a mage, which was repeatedly acknowledged by Shirou as superior to his own. Yes, he doesn't recognize Saber's self-determination and tries to shelter her because she's a woman. But that's not because of hateful or malicious degradation of women, it's because he holds a "superhero" mindset in believing it's the man's job to protect women. As you said, it's in the Fate route that he tries to shelter women the most, and it's in the Fate route he most strongly believes he has a destiny to protect others. It's not a demeaning of independent women manifested in misogyny ('Women shouldn't be strong enough to fight'), it's a naive ignorance of the potential of women due to blind idealism ('Men should protect women so the women don't get hurt fighting').

I think a distinction needs to be made here. I don't think Shirou is a misogynist in the dictionary sense of the word, but he does have ideals concerning both women's roles and his own that are very misogynistIC. He may not be an active misogynist, but you could say he's a passive one.

Truth in Television here, as IRL Japan is a DEEPLY misogynist society, and while you'd be hard pressed to find guys who are actively like "argh I hate all women bitchslutwhores", the majority because it's so entrenched in the social structure that they exist in that they largely don't even notice.

But anyway, I love Saber (and Bazett) but prefer Tohsaka best of all I think.

The label of misogyny carries some serious weight in implications of intention and character, none of which apply to Shirou. A better presentation of his attitude towards women during Fate would be "distrust" or "doubt," and even that fails to capture how it's his selfless intention to protect others that stifles Saber's will, and how the 'moral' of the Fate route in giving Avalon to Saber is that one needs to trust others. Japan may have a widespread misogynistic temperament, but that does not automatically make it a word to apply to any slighting of women seen in that culture (especially when the act is portrayed as a poor choice within the same work).

Don't forget that he saw her get nearly slashed up to bits and pieces by Berserker. And that image lingered in his head. Being an indealistic hero with a mindset is one thing, but experiencing such a thing left a lingering, reaccuring image in his head. Everytime she went fighting, this image would pop up and it horrified him. Until the Bloodfort incident.
