What is your favourite Touhou remix? I'm really liking this album, especially the scarlet heaven of Delays remix.

So your quarrel is with normal peoples' uses of the words? Why would anyone outside of the music industry care? Moreover, why would anyone inside of the music industry care?

A rearrangement means a reproduction of a song with a change in the instruments. A remix is a more catch-all term meaning that it isn't the original song, but is based off of it.

I don't even care. I'm not even the guy the guy I quoted was quoting. I was just copypasting what Wiktionary had to say on the matter. I suspect that the original greentexter was in fact just a troll who wanted to stir up shit for no reason

I think he may have succeeded

How do you all find albums that you might like? I don't mean finding the downloads, I mean finding albums that are the sort of genre(s) that you enjoy. Is there some kind of blog or catalog that provides album and artist descriptions or organizes them by genre?

For years I've just been digging through the event release threads on the archive but there has to be a better way. Even in those threads often the albums are given only a one-word description (like "electronic", that's not very helpful) or they have no description.

>> No.7386934

>>7386870
I tend to find groups I like, and obsessively download everything they release.
Also, I flip through NND to find new groups.

>> No.7387086

>>7386870
Well I usually stumble upon something on youtube or niconico from time to time then download the album. Otherwise I just make a thread like this. I've gotten some good stuff from here.

>> No.7387091

>>7386870
I browse vgmdb, if there's something that sounds interesting I see if I can find songs on youtube (too lazy to nico usually) from the same artist, and if I think it's interesting I'll check it out.
