Credit cards only use to use money that you can pay later.
For example, if you have a platinum card your monthly spending limit will be around $10k+.
You are allowed to spend that amount and you can pay them later when they send you the monthly statement. Basically you approach a store and ask them to bid for you on a product on YA.

The store will usually charge:
