Like a calculator sometimes the computer will rearrange it, but not in a way that impacts the answer. But if you can prove Wolfram to be wrong over such a simple equation then I suggest you do it, because that'd be hilarious.

Division is just a special case of multiplication.
Subtraction is just a special case of addition.
They are not treated differently.

Multiplication and addition have the same precedence, and the convention is left-associativity, meaning that it's (6/2) * (1+2). If we didn't have a convention like that, this expression (with that few parentheses) would actually not be well-defined.

If this was mend to be a fraction would be different as every fraction implies a parenthesis: (6) / (2 (1 + 2)
