This is the same bullshit as in Megaten. There's hundreds of new pretty items in the cash shop, but the in-game NPC shops have the exact same shit from beta. Except that in Megaten, you can actually buy cash shop items from other players, so it's not that big of a deal.

are the people complaining about air using upgraded weapons? the air robots that seem impossible to hit all have 40 fly and air loop so it's expected that you can't compete unless you fag it up to an equal degree.

Earlier today, Vyolets was playing an untuned, only capa carts seraph crimrose, and he was getting top 3 every single match. I think all he was using was wisps and probably a plasma beam gun.

Another air bot, Aquila girl, is already very powerful and she was recently buffed. She has the ability to refill her boost, thus extending her flight time.

This is not a new phenomenon. Back in beta, Shaden booster air bots were extremely hated for the exact same reason. Shaden boosters are no longer readily available, so seraph crimrose has filled that role post-beta for our server.

Even in CBJP, they have no ART that can counter shaden boosters. Though maybe 40 fly/tec alby, I don't know now...

Don't tell me that extended flight air bots are not overpowered as fuck. There's no such thing as "anti homing". Just being able to turn in a circle indefinitely is enough to evade missiles and bazookas. I used to do it beta with a Tesladonna w/ 40 fly and propeller bits. They were overpowered back then, overpowered now.

If my calculations are correct, and taking into account that AIR is 2.3x weak to explosives (from wiki), a single full burst salvo will do 207 dmg to an AIR bot. I don't know how blast damage factors in, so it could possibly be more or the same. In my opinion, all small AIR bots will be dead by the second or third salvo. Though the spread may not be tight enough to concentrate all firepower. Then again, that may be a good thing if you're trying to hit a circling seraph.

Single salvo as in, a single shot from all simultaneous firing bazookas.

TGH reduction kills things like that. One single bullet with a huge amount of force is much better than 3 bullets adding up to the same amount. Having 3 Blast Bazookas is a waste of capacity. With that you can tune more and have more carts than core and blast guard. If you can't move fast enough to get into a nice position to hit the air bots before they get to you first, none of those Blast Bazookas matter. Airs can still circle around and destroy that slow thing.

Using 3 is just wasteful. 2 is fine. Blast Bazookas are great, but 3 of them isn't much better than 2 when you need to add another arm and an Asura. That bot has only 13 walk. And 0 STR so you can't use a wonder bit for more than a few seconds. Dropping one of the zooks lets you use that extra 150 capacity (minimum) for something more useful. Extra guns are rarely worth the cost unless you are making a PS breaker or some sort of moving burst build. Which this doesn't even have, but could with 2 zooks instead.

Either way, it will still knock air bots out of the sky, so you should at least be able to move around and dodge their shots a bit more so you don't die with that 1200 cost before killing off as many bots as possible.

I like this one a lot better. One more point in tgh to get to 20 will help a lot with stunning. And 1 more point in tec will bump the force up from 28 to 29. So if you aren't adding that one extra point in tec, you can drop 2 points to add more fly. Make sure you have an extra 10 free capacity if you want to use dual missile bits. Or 5 capacity for slayer/dual rifle/pillbox/vulcan/sniping. If you use great tunes for fly and drop the wing joints, you can get the same results probably, but it might not be worth it if you already have some things tuned. Great tunes take twice as many chips, but they do succeed a bit more often.

I like to use Lily for double Blast Bazookas for float dash, but she is much more fragile and doesn't hit as hard.

I don't think any amount of guns can do 1000 damage in one burst. Hell, a saggy with two great force linear cannons with 36 tec and both core upgrades only hits air for a max of 120 if all 3 hit at once. That's 3 42 force railguns at once on an air at once.

The damage they deal is 100% blast, so against airs that 20 force means a lot of damage. It also blows up at max range so a lot of near misses turn into hits. And perhaps most important of all, it stun airs like no other, dropping them to the ground and letting you get a lot of consecutive shots in. It's also M size so you can put it on S art which don't have many other options, especially with handy zooks being lotto cube only.

I still don't get the hate on seraphs. I tried it out with a friend on team battle yesterday on a couple of scenarios and I was able to hit him 70% of the time seraph wings were activated.

We tried:

Seraph rushing straight towards me, straight line, seraph mode
Seraph flying away from me, straight line, seraph mode
Seraph strafing left or right in front of me, straight line, seraph mode
Seraph flying above me (yes I hit her when she was directly above me), seraph mode
Seraph after just getting into seraph mode

The missiles veering away from her only happened a couple of times while the other times I missed was due to her speed.

I used box missiles. I'd like to make a vid but I can't be assed to do that. It's easier to just go and test it yourselves.

With this experiment, I don't understand why people keep claiming that you can't hit seraph in seraph mode when I friggin hit his seraph multiple times. Explain this bullshit to me.

Most have low to medium tgh so the blast damage boost against air gives a good shot at stunning them. It's not about good seraphs or bad seraphs, you're missing the point. The point was people keep claiming that Seraph's anti homing makes ALL missiles fuck up their trajectory so I tested it in multiple scenarios. This is the reason why I told the lab rat to just fly in straight lines etc. because it's already established that she's fast enough to dodge and that's not what we wanted to test in teh first place.

I don't get why people blame her anti homing when her speed is the one that's letting her dodge all those missiles more than anything.

A seraph circling you scenario wasn't considered because you're gonna get stunned to death anyway or because the turn speed of your mech will fuck up your trying to aim at her considering her speed.

Trying to hit a seraph circling a friendly art on the other hand would be one thing I haven't tested. I guess I need one more lab rat.

BTW, to hit the seraph, I had to compensate for her speed so I actually shot the missiles far from her actual position. I'm not sure but, do people even try doing this?

Anyway, Tempura, I hear you're holding another clan tournament, so I figured I'd drop by and offer my advice in parting your playerbase with their money as usual.

Since the sugoi garapon is on it's way out, you'd do well to replace it with a garapon filled with all the usual autist build toys that currently aren't in another garapon. Naturally everyone will be scrambling to get their fagbuilds together in time for the tournament, so here's a prime time to bring back all the hot parts while there's demand.

Missing "high demand" bots/weapons/parts:
Hatigarm Machine
Lancerlot Kshield
Force Barrier LGJ
Cross-Shooters
Dual Beammachineguns
and any old shitty bot who's default weapon is a handyzook(I recommend mechled, so they can feel extra ripped off at rolling for him just to get a shitty slotless handyzook)

For maximum possible profiteering, I recommend you split the above items and put half into whichever new garapon will replace the sugoi garapon, and put the other half into the weekly garapon.

PS: If you're trying to think of something to use for the next clan lottery without reusing the gold pepen, I recommend the gold pepen mascot accessory.

when you're flying at full speed if you try to fly left or right your robot will turn its entire body towards the direction of flight. if you let go of space for a second and then hold it you'll fly at reduced speed and when you go left or right you'll stay facing your aiming direction. basically it's the difference between walking and running, only in the air.

It's harder to do well with low cost airs now. The recently released Toybox Girl really tears apart untuned airs. I've pretty much had to retire my three beezle commando since her release. But Seraph is UC and is probably the most generally useful bot in the game and UC hoppers are almost as good now as they were at release. Pick Crimrose in that case. She also starts with an unique'ish beam gun that's pretty hard to come by later on.
At level 8, 9 and 10 she can be upgraded to a Seraph Crimrose through a promotion item. You can promote her at either level but starts out with more cost and HP at higher level, 10 being preferable.
It's worth noting that no other bot can be promoted like Crimrose.
