Every time I do I swear to myself that I won't let the mess pile up as it did. Just a little each day, each week and I wont have to clean that much, just keep at it I tell myself.

Wow, guys, you suck. I never wash the dishes cause I know somebody else is gonna do it. But when I'm alone for, say, 15 days, I do all the cleaning. Otherwise it's unbearably disgusting.

Can't someone be both a NEET and a neat freak? I know I am. I can't stand having unwashed dishes in the sink.

It's easy to get used to a mess, or even moderate stench, if you let it get that bad.

I think you can improve your condition with a little bit of organization. Think about what you would consider "acceptably clean", create a cleaning schedule based on that and timebox the tasks at hand so you can actually carry out the scheduled you committed yourself to.

Just have a dishwasher here, can't do it. I'd rather not either. Although listening to Necro-Fantasy while mowing the lawn is cool. Sometimes I get an urge to sing though, but I can't.

If you're gonna spend a lot of time in your homes you it feels a lot better to have it clean... Why not just clean a little bit everyday?

Used to be that way too, but I got sick of having to deal with dishes gone wild. Doing a bit everyday helps with the overall laziness and lack of motivation. You feel better when you do something productive, even if it's just something as little as taking out the trash.

Just so you assholes know, you're actually supposed to handwash your dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. Assuming there's some hard crust on the dishes, you end up fucking up your dishwasher and the dishes don't even get clean. Don't believe that shitty commercial with the whole cake.
