They're not better than GSC or Alter but Koto can be kinda hit and miss. They've made some really nice figs and some really meh figs. To me Griffon is only slightly better than Wave or Megahouse but honestly that really doesn't say all that much. Can anyone think of a way to mend my Nanoha?
The problem with it is pretty clear as it seems her hand just isn't at the right angle and nor does it form a tight enough grip around her staff so the thing almost falls out of her hand. It'd be nice if it looked like it should do, next to Fate.

As stated above, amiami is generally your best bet. You can try any of the American outlets if you want (generally eBay or Amazon), but there are drawbacks. You have to figure what you'll pay for shipping from Japan in against the higher base prices in America as well as the chance of getting counterfeit goods for certain figs. I just buy from amiami generally and have them ship a package to me at the end of each month so save on ridiculous shipping costs.

You can use Mandarake for rarer figs if you can deal with the possibility of putting an order down and never getting it because they prioritize nips over gaijin.

Anyone familiar with SAL Registered shipping, from Amiami specifically? Waiting for the new Griffon Flandre figure, which shipped to east coast US on April 30th. It's only been about 11 days, and I was anticipating two or three weeks, but they haven't updated the tracking past "Dispatch from outward office of exchange," since the 30th, not really sure where it's supposed to be almost two weeks after that.

Actually, something like that happened to me recently, although not with Amiami. Ordered Nendoroid Youmu, waited a couple weeks and the status still hadn't changed, and about a day or two after that the mail person caught me by surprise since my order was there. I'm guessing SAL registered doesn't update tracking info as often as EMS does.

That actually happened to me every single time, so I thought they just didn't offer tracking information beyond when it leaves the country, making the tracking more or less useless. I think I'm going to convert to the unregistered SAL faction, since there's no value to a tracking service that doesn't update in the 2 weeks it takes from the shipment leaving the country to arriving at the destination, and because the insurance just doesn't pay off in the long run, since it's a rarity for shipments to get lost.

Just use your country's tracking service. It's the same for me. The japanese one doesn't get updated after the package leaves Japan, but any new info will be on my country's site. And well, I live in Europe and it takes around one week for a package to come.

I didn't copy-paste the entire letter with signature. I wasn't rude, I just think that they are not following the conversation-chain as I do, because after first letter with my name/order I'm just replying to their letters and they're asking me the same things twice. Probably I talked with half of their staff already.
