Sup /jp/, femanon here.

I want to get into Touhou. Is there a recommended order that I should play the games in?

>> No.7307596

this order
*grabs dick*

>> No.7307600 [DELETED]

This is not a joke, this is absolutely real. The cliche seems to be that if someone says it's not a joke - it's always just fake or whatever, but this one is legit, no games, nothing. About a year ago, someone by the online alias known as Life Owner appeared on the scene. He made a few friends and whatnot, he was online for a while - but the thing is, he never talked to anyone, he just got on, added you to his friends list on MSN, Skype, Yahoo - many different things, but he never talked. Most people just blocked him or deleted him, which was lucky for them. The people who didn't remove or delete him found that their files went missing, or that there computer would act strange sometimes.

>> No.7307602 [DELETED]

One day, 'Life Owner' stopped appearing online - he didn't appear on anyone's friends list at all. It was as if he was never even there. A few weeks passed - not that anyone noticed - and people he had friended started getting emails. When they got it, it would say something along the lines of; "Here you have it," "Here it is," or "Here life is." Once they opened it, a message would display on their screens that said; "It is too late now, you are no longer beautiful..." It would take everything in their computer and corrupt it, breaking the codes into worms and infecting it with limitless trojans. Then the people would get depressed and end up killing themselves.

>> No.7307607 [DELETED]

One of these people, Simone Back got the virus and started acting strange. After a while, she quit talking to a lot of people, getting more and more depressed every day - her mother noticed, but no one else did. Eventually she started fighting with her boyfriend and they broke up for breathing space. One of the days they were broke up, she posted on her facebook page; "Took all my pills be dead soon bye bye everyone."

Play only the Windows games, and play them in the order they were released. That way you get the experience of the series' evolution.

>> No.7307616

Her mother found out about this post and called the police since she was disabled, when they found her she had overdosed on her medication meant for her stomach pains. They searched for likely causes of suicide in her room and found her computer still running. The officer who read what was on her screen hasn't been seen for some time now...

It seems that if you even just read these emails, you are walking right into his trap. You're not safe online anywhere, he's going to find out where you are, who you are, and take you away. You're only safety is away from all communication methods other than a normal, corded phone. He's out there, waiting everday for you to open his email, and when you do, you're his.

Embodiment of Scarlet Devil is moderately difficult due to a combination of being unrefined (can't see hitbox), a rank system (the longer you go without dying, the harder it gets) and almost requiring a vsync patch.

Perfect Cherry Blossom has a well balanced difficulty.

Imperishable Night is "easy" relative to other Touhou games, but it'll still challenge new players.

Mountain of Faith, not sure what to say about it.

Subterranean Animism is generally considered the hardest in the series.

Undefined Fantastic Object is fine on normal but a bitch on hard and lunatic.

Ten Desires is easy on normal, but jumps in difficulty on hard.

Can I have your phone number?

Also, Imperishable Night.

EoSD has dynamic difficulty.
If you go a stretch without dying, sections will be more difficult than if you has died previously.

What, you're posting on /jp/ touhou thread and you didn't know about EoSD's difficulty scaling? You ought to be ashamed of yourself.

I wouldn't know, as I've never died.

I've 1CC'd EoSD on hard and I didn't know that, granted some spell cards seem really easy at times and really hard other times but a rank system, my, all these years.

I am sorry /jp/, I've let you down.

OP is the person known as "slavic anon of /jp/," who also used to troll under many other personas, such as "femanon of /jp." Whenever he started threads as "femanon of /jp/," he always used that pic, as linked in the archive.

>No posts since 2009

I'd like to think this is a new breed of troll who reads the archive and then pretends to be persona's of past trolls in a crude attempt to troll older posters.

Which is why the trip was unused. Then again thats just a vain hope that we could have interesting trolling. Its a conspiracy man.
